Ocean Deep Shawl

Boasting a generous wingspan of approximately 160cm (63in) and a depth of around 80cm (31½in), the triangular design incorporates different stitch patterns that add movement and interest. The border is completed with a gentle ripple, and a row of silver Toho beads is knitted into the central section, catching the light and shimmering like ocean waves.

Materials

• ​Scheepjes Whirl (60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic; 215g/1000m) Shade 553 Indigo Plane x 1 yarn cake
• 1 tube Toho Glass Beads Round 8-0, colour 29 Silver
• 2.5mm and 3mm or 3.5mm circular needles 100cm long*
• 0.75mm crochet hook (to place beads)
• Stitch markers

*Shawl is made using 2 different needle sizes, one for Sections 1-3 (Main Shawl) and a size larger for Section 4 (Border). Your choice of needle and how you block the shawl will affect your final measurements
