YARN - The After Party 92 Away Day Shawl
By Judith HellerThe Away Day Shawl is your go-to companion for a wonderful day out. Whether you are out shopping, enjoying a high tea with your friends, or visiting a museum, with this comfortable and elegant shawl you’ll enjoy your day in style.
This triangular shawl is made with 3 colours of Scheepjes Merino Soft. The rows of linen stitches alternate beautifully with rows of filet stitches. This causes the contrasting colours to playfully fade into each other due to the clever mix of stitches and the seemingly random colour changes. The lovely border of picot stitches truly completes the look.
To crochet this shawl, you’ll need 9 balls of Scheepjes Merino Soft yarn in the colours Dali, Lautrec, and Ansingh. The finished shawl measures 67cm at its widest point and 190cm long. Choose your own colour combination from the vast Scheepjes Merino Soft collection of 56 colours. Want more colours to choose from? You can also crochet this pattern with Scheepjes Merino Soft Brush!
