YARN - The After Party 30 Alto Mare Wrap

This edition of YARN 'The After Party' features the exceptionally gorgeous Alto Mare Wrap designed by Gaia Tarantino from Crafting Tales. This beautiful wrapm is named after her inspiration: the magical sea views of the Italian Riviera. The sea and the reflection of the sunrise are highlighted in the design. The Alto Mare wrap can be worn in different styles and fashions.

This design is crocheted with 3 kinds of Scheepjes yarns. You need two yarn cakes of Whirl if you want to crochet the Alto Mare Wrap. Depending on your taste, you can make this wrap in every colour you desire! With a composition of 60% cotton / 40% acrylic, the whirl is extremely well-suited for making light and airy projects. Every yarn cake has an enormous length of 1000 meters with lovely long colour changes. In addition to the Whirl, you also need one ball of Whirlette. The Whirlette is a 100-grams yarn cake (455m!) with yarn identical to the whirl, except for the whirlette consisting of one colour. The colours of the whirlette perfectly match our Whirl cakes. And final the 'sun' in the pattern is crocheted with Scheepjes Mohair Rhythm. This yarn consists of 70% Mohair and 30% Microfiber, creating a silky soft effect with a deluxe look and feel.

  Yarn A: 781 Sea Breeze Tease x 1 yarn cake
  Yarn B: 755 Blueberry Bambam x 1 yarn cake
• Scheepjes Whirlette (60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic; 100g/455m)
  Yarn C: 852 Frosted x 1 ball
• Scheepjes Mohair Rhythm (70% Mohair, 30% Microfiber; 25g/200m)
  Yarn D: 689 Cha Cha x 1 ball
• 3.5mm and 4.5mm crochet needles
• Row counter
• 8 stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
