Gauge: 25 sts and 10 rows in pattern = 10 x 10 cm. Take time to check gauge and switch hook if necessary.
Stitches:
Crochet chain = o, Single crochet = l, Half double crochet = T, Double crochet = †, Treble crochet = l with two horizontal lines, Double treble crochet = l with three horizontal lines.
Pattern st: Work following chart. Always alternately repeat row 1 and 2. Whenever Double crochet meet at the bottom, they are worked in the same base stitch. Whenever Double crochet meet at the top, leave the last loop of each Double crochet on hook, YO and draw through all loops. In the last row you will be working Double treble crochet, Treble crochet, Double crochet, Half double crochet and Single crochet, this is to compensate the difference in height between the peaks.
Stripe pattern: *3 rows using red, 3 rows using yellow, 3 rows using blue, 3 rows using green, 3 rows using pink, 3 rows using grey, repeat from *.
Tip: It is recommended to leave a 15 cm long tail when attaching yarn and fastening off, this can later be used to sew the seam in the same color.
Directions:
Back: Using red chain 115‐125‐135 sts and work the Pattern st in Stripe pattern, beginning after the edge st with stitch marked A‐B‐C in chart. Armholes: when work measures 52 cm leave 8 sts unworked at both edges and continue until total length is 70‐71‐72 cm. Fasten off.
Front: Work same as back until total length is 52 cm. V‐neck: divide work and finish each half separately. At neck edge alternately decrease 5 times 2 sts, every 2 rows and 6 times 2 sts, every row. Work to same length as back and fasten off.
Sleeves: Using red chain 63‐65‐67 sts and work Pattern st in Stripe pattern, beginning after the edge st with stitch marked D‐E‐F in chart. Sleeve width: for size 36/38 increase 14 times 1 st at both edges, alternately every 2 and 3 rows; for size 40/42 increase 15 times 1 st at both edges, alternately every 2 and 3 rows; for size 44/46 increase 17 times 1 st at both edges, every 2 rows. Work until total length is 42 cm and fasten off.
Finishing: Sew shoulder seams. Using yellow work one row Double crochet along neck edge. Sew in sleeves, matching center of sleeve to shoulder seam. Sew side seams.
