Little Bat Music Box

By Nienke Jongstra

Little Bat Music Box

Crafters who adore amigurumi will go batty for this clever design by Nienke Jongstra. The body, ears and bell cover are all crocheted using the spiralling technique, while the face and wings are worked in rows. It may be that most bats are nocturnal, but this one won’t keep your little one awake at night. Safely concealed in its tummy is a secret box that plays a gentle melody to lull them to sleep when the cord is pulled. The Little Bat Music Box is made using 100% Mercerised Cotton Scheepjes Catona. This baby-friendly yarn with soft sheen is available in an enormous choice of shades, so guaranteed to co-ordinate with any nursery colour scheme.
