Hi there! I’m Susanne, I live in the North of the Netherlands with my partner, our dog and three chickens. Crochet is my first love, though I didn’t start until I was an adult. Being a leftie I could never quite figure it out and thought crafting just wasn’t for me. Until some years ago I found a left handed video and it all made sense. I was addicted from the very first stitch.

Down the rabbit hole I went: first crochet, then knitting, spinning, embroidery, and soon sewing. If it’s yarn related, count me in! My favourite part of crafting is learning something new; I love a good challenge. When I found the Scheepjes community it was like coming home. I love the gorgeous projects, creativity, support, and positivity we share in the groups. I’m honoured to be a part of this community as a moderator.
