By CanadutchA classic hat that suits everyone in the clan, thanks to its stretchy rib and uncomplicated shape crafted from soft and breathable wool yarn. The pastels and cool winter shades are perfectly on trend, but be warned—before you know it, you’ll find yourself making one to match every jacket or jumper!
Use just one ball of our 100% Recycled Superwash Merino Wool yarn, Woolwise, with either traditional dpns or circular needles to knit this hat in the round. With 60 colours in the range, how many will you create?

* The 1 x 1 rib pattern creates a very stretchy fabric, making this a lovely one-size-fits-most accessory for adults. To resize the hat, simply add or remove (a multiple of) four sts. The pattern uses most of a single ball of Woolwise, so you may need an extra ball should you wish to increase the size.
Pattern
This is a beginner level pattern.
