Grinda Shawl MAL
From the 11th of July a new Scheepjes Make-A-Long will begin! Designed by Tatsiana from lillabjorncrochet.com, the Grinda MAL is inspired by small Swedish islands, the nature of Grinda and the magical sea view!
The result of this FREE MAL is a beautiful shawl, made with just 1 yarn cake of Scheepjes Whirl or 3 yarn balls of Scheepjes Whirlettes. There's also a possibility to crochet a larger version, combining a Whirl or Wooly Whirl with a Scheepjes Whirlette. Every week, for the duration of 5 weeks, a small part of the pattern will be released for FREE and support is being offered through the Scheepjes Facebook groups. Scheepjes Whirl
The Grinda Shawl can be made in any colour of Whirl. Made from a blend of 60% cotton / 40% acrylic to produce projects that are lightweight and breathable. This Extra Large yarn cake holds an enormous 1000 meters of softly colour changing yarn, more than enough for a large shawl or wrap. Scheepjes Whirl is available in no less than 39 colourways.
Scheepjes Woolly Whirl
Scheepjes Woolly Whirl is the warm alternative to Scheepjes Whirl and perfect for the colder seasons. This extra large yarn cake made of 70% cotton and 30% wool has extra long color changes. This Extra Large yarn cake holds an enormous 1000 meters of softly colour changing yarn, more than enough for a large shawl or wrap. Scheepjes Woolly Whirl is available in 4 colours.
Scheepjes Whirlette
You can also crochet the Grinda Shawl with 3 Whirlette colours of your choice. Whirlette is a 100g ball (455m!) of exactly the same yarn as Whirl, but in a single colour, which co-ordinates beautifully with many of our Whirl yarn cakes. Whirlette is available in 19 colours.
