Astrid's Winter Silence Blanket

It snows from November to March or longer in Norway, where Astrid calls home. Unlike rain, snow makes no sound, so suddenly you are surprised when you look out of the window and it is snowing heavily. That silence, and the coloured wooden houses around her, is what inspired this blanket.
